IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Kaunas University of Technology suspends the study process until March 27

The Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is changing its organisation of work and is postponing the study process for two weeks, from March 13 to March 27, after the World Health Organisation declared the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 a pandemic, and following the decisions of the Lithuanian government.

Starting from this Friday, March 13, the classes are suspended for all the KTU students of all study cycles, study forms and courses – the students are provided two weeks of holidays until March 27.  During these two weeks, the academic community will prepare for continuing the study process online. The end of the academic year is postponed by two weeks.

For the upcoming 14 days, all the University staff is urged to work remotely. If there is no possibility to work from home, please follow all recommended hygiene requirements, avoid meetings and physical contact.

All the events, meetings, planned work trips abroad will be cancelled.

The University will ensure the availability of disinfectants. It is recommended to avoid close human contact and to follow other recommendations provided by the Ministry of Health.
