We kindly invite you to the annual international KTU conference “Lithuanian Research and Industry”, which invites to discuss the key issues of the country’s industrial and economic development, technological progress, policy and strategy.
The topic of this year’s conference is Transforming industry for sustainable future.
During the conference, a presentation in English will be provided by Mariya Gabriel, EU Commissioner for Innovation, Science, Culture, Education, and Youth. Panel discussions with experts will also be held to identify future industrial challenges, and to discover opportunities and possible changes that could lead to a sustainable transition for a climate-neutral economy.
The event will focus on the European Green Deal aim of making Europe the first climate-neutral continent. The European Commission has set out an ambitious strategy for sustainable economic growth to improve the quality of life for present and future generations, and to build a modern and competitive economy. This strategy will serve as the focal starting point for stimulating discussions and sharing knowledge.
