On the first September weekend, the KTU Alumni Association invites KTU community members, employees, students and alumni who would like to find out more about motorcycling and experience a unique moto travel adventure.
The KTU moto ride is organised for the second time. During the event, you will find out more about the culture of motorcycling, and safe driving and meet KTU members with common interests. We say – the human side of technology, so let’s start the academic year with new acquaintances and experiences with colleagues behind the wheel of a motorcycle.
Saturday, September 3
7:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Registration (meeting place – upper parking lot of KTU Santaka valley, K. Baršausko str. 59, Kaunas).
7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Introduction of the travel route and stopping points to the participants. In order to avoid crowding and for the general safety of all participants, the participants will be aligned in small groups for the start.
8:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We leave Kaunas towards Rapaliai, visiting the “Auksinio elnio dvaras”.
11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Accompanied by a guide, we visit the museum of vintage motorcycles and take a walk around the “Auksinio elnio dvaras”, where participants are welcome to have a coffee, lunch or simply enjoy a moment of relaxation.
12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. We leave from the “Auksinio elnio dvaras” towards Plokščiai.
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Accompanied by a guide, we visit the Plokštinė missile base – the object that remained after the Cold War.
4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. We leave Plokščiai and travel towards Palanga.
5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. We arrive at the KTU Rest House Politechnika (S. Dariaus and S. Girėno str. 37, Palanga). The meeting, snacks, accommodation, and spare time until the evening program.
7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Evening program, conversations, music, informal communication.
Sunday, September 4
9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. Check-out from the Rest House Politechnika.
ATTENTION! Your registration will be confirmed after making a payment to the KTU Alumni Association: 20 Eur/person. or 40 Eur/2 persons. This amount is intended for the payment of attractions, guides and entertainment services. The participation fee is non-refundable.
